Support Workers

Namatjira Haven has vacancies for Support Workers. We are looking for an Aboriginal man with current reliable vehicle to get to work and has a LR/HR license for driving Namatjira Haven vehicles. We need someone with physical fitness to help our residents actively in the program. It is an active position with things like mowing, whipper snipping, weeding and vege gardening with residents and working out in the gym. Very desirable also to have some cultural skills in woodworking/craft, dance or music to support residents in their free time or programed cultural sessions.

Past residents also that may want to train up while working in a support role to get a Cert 4 in Drug and Alcohol or Mental Health are welcome to apply.

Saturday and Sunday shifts available with ability to cover other shifts including days and evenings. If you have another job and want some extra work this may be a great opportunity.
